Ever since Neeraj Chopra made his name history for winning a javelin gold at the Tokyo Olympics, the sport has attracted new fans across the country. And now, an ad seems to have captured the current craze around Chopra and the country’s new love, “Javelin”.

Whereas previously Cred surprised fans by describing Rahul Dravid as “Indiranagar ka Gunda” which was in complete contrast to the cricketer’s personality, now they have given the Olympic gold medalist a makeover and featured him in various avatars of journalist, film producer, marketing honcho among others who currently aim to take advantage of the frenzy around Chopra.

“360 degree marketing! Chopra wrote sharing the company’s 40-second clip. The ad also looks at the national frenzy that surrounded Chopra after returning from Tokyo after winning the gold medal.

Since it was shared online, the clip has garnered over 1.5 million views and has been inundated with web users reacting to Chopra’s various avatars, many of whom complimented his acting skills. Some have said in a lighter vein that he should get an Oscar for his performance in advertising.
