Discover this electric vehicle smaller than Tata Nano with a range of 230 km

A new electric vehicle called Microlino is attracting a lot of attention in the electric vehicle market these days. As the name suggests, the EV has a very cute and small appearance. It would be smaller than a Tata Nano car and cover a range of 230 km on a single charge.

Although it looks like a small car, but the company says it’s not a car, it’s a four-wheel electric vehicle. According to reports, the car has already received 30,000 reservations even before its official market launch.

Microlino is a Swiss-designed electric vehicle. It looks like a car but it is placed between the car and the motorcycle, specifies the company. The vehicle has a much smaller construction than a car but is covered on all sides like a car. Along with this, space has also been provided for storage. The EV can seat two people and has 230 liters of boot space.

It weighs only 535 kg and has a range of up to 230 km. What is interesting is that it can reach a speed of up to 90 km/h and its base model has a range of up to 115 km. According to the company, the vehicle can be driven around town for about a week on a single charge.

Microlino is a European Class L7e vehicle, which means it is technically a four-wheeled bicycle but designed as a compact car. It has a unibody chassis, small battery, and nominal carbon footprint. 90% of its components are made in Europe.

The vehicle has already obtained 30,000 reservations. It is expected to be available initially in Switzerland at a price of $15,340 (around Rs 12 lakh). In Europe, it is listed for $13,400 (around Rs 10.5 lakh). Deliveries to Swiss customers will begin this summer, while other parts of Europe will begin thereafter.

The company manufactures the Microlino at its factory in Turin, Italy. The plant can increase its production capacity from 1,500 vehicles per year to 10,000 vehicles per year.
